Without clean water, life is an endless struggle. With it, almost anything is possible.
Clean water is possibly the world's most valuable commodity, and certainly the most necessary to sustaining life. Unfortunately for many of the world's poorest communities, clean water is rare and sometimes completely unavailable.
This scarcity leads to illness and possible lost of many lives, lost opportunity for school and work. The rate of lost lives is very alarming and needs immediate action. That a child dies every 15 seconds as a result of water borne diseases is quite simply incomprehensible. But it’s a fact of life... or rather death!
Water Africa is an international charity that aims to provide clean safe water and sanitation where it is needed most. To date we have helped lots of communitities by giving them water education. With this, they are able to help save their families and the community.
